An EMP Strikes While at Work. Here Are the Vital Steps to Take Next:

The mentality of a high altitude EMP – otherwise known as an electromagnetic pulse – is enough to make a normally calm person uptight and frustrated! It is extremely likely that a human-made pulse of energy, in theory, decimate the electronic infrastructure.

If and when that should happen that means no TVs, radios, laptops, lights — anything that relies on electricity. Many people also suggest that if something like this happens that vehicles will also stop functioning due to their electronic systems that are integrated.

Since there is a 50-50 chance, a person may be at work and away from home when an EMP strikes it's always important to be ready. A SHTF bag is necessary, but so is a ‘get home bag' that'll have enough supplies to keep you going until you reach your bug out retreat or home.

It's hard to know where a person will be when an EMP happens. Most people will be at work, which means it may take some time to reunite with loved ones at a safe location where you can ride the storm until this thing passes (assuming it does).

For tips on what you should pack in your ‘get home bag' and what else you should be prepared for if and when an EMP hits while you're at work, check out the next page.

It suggests a flashlight. Would that still work? I guess if it does great if not, oh well.

And with many phones equipped with flashlights. They may not work either if the EMP shuts your phone down. I always carry survival gear with me since I’ve started wearing cargo pants. My newest addition is a bar of survival bread/granola like bar I’ve made recently.

Drive a pre computer old school diesel truck loaded with my gear for family daily, faraday box with com gear and both manual and electric syphon pumps to savage fuel and a well stocked weapons box, I got no worries

If the EMP is powerful enough, it will even cook the glow plug wires.

Don’t need glow plugs all the time, besides if ya got wd40/ether to start to get home all other issues can be solved, not rocket science to repair 18 gauge manual fired glow plugs
