A Prepper is Living Off the Grid When a Brown Recluse Bites Him. Here’s How He Should Effectively Treat It.

brown recluse spider

People don't like spiders for a reason. It usually has to do with their beady eyes, long legs, and the intricate webs they spin with ease to catch their next meal.

If you were to ask a survivalist why he doesn't care much for spiders, he might tell you it's because he doesn't want to get bit by one! Even though most spiders are harmless, there is still the occasional spider that can cause a painful injury.

In fact, the brown recluse spider is one such spider that if a person were to get bit by one, they would be in grave discomfort. The name alone of this spider causes many survivalists squirm, and they pray that they never have to encounter one.

If a survivalist were to get bit by a brown recluse, they would likely need help from a doctor. However, if they're living off the grid or this takes place when SHTF, this likely won't be possible. What should a prepper do if this is the case?

On the next page, learn about the essential steps a prepper should take if they happen to get bit by a recluse spider while bugging out. If there isn't any emergency care available, it'll be up to a survivalist to know the proper course of treatment.

once you realize you have been bit, it will have been a day or so that you know it was a recluse. there isn’t any pain. i pulled it off me and it felt like pulling off a tick. but anyway it started to rot a day later, cleaned out the black, and then used hydrogen peroxide repeatedly. stopped it before it got deep into the flesh.

I should be more specific . When I seen this method used they did it with a hot dagger that was plunged in to the bite with a spin as to scoop out the poison sack wile cauterizing around it . I can attest that it did work & the wound did heal like normal . I’m no doctor & would not recommend any one to try this . Unless there was no other options of corse.

Seen our share of these in this old house. They hate lit areas so leaving a light on insures they stay hid. Especially in the bathroom 🙂

So… in essence, if you’re off the grid, and you’re bitten, purchase a few things from a health food store… got it.

Simple solution. Stay out of areas where these spiders are found.
There are other creatures that should cause more concern, depending on the location.

A day or two later you have no idea what bit you and it probably wasn’t a BRS.

hydrogen peroxide, tea tree oil, and colloidal silver is a start, but you still need type of other treatments if those things do not work.
