Mountain lions are one of the most feared predators in the United States and even though many fear this animal due to misunderstanding, they are still dangerous enough to have a large amount of respect.

Luckily the chances of a prepper running into one in the wilderness are very slim since they are reclusive creatures that are fearful of humans. It's rare that they would attack unless they have cause to.

Even though getting attacked by a mountain lion is rare they can happen and across the board, these attacks could have been prevented if the person would have followed a few rules that we'll discuss next.

To check out what these rules are and what a prepper should do should he ever encounter a mountain lion while he's bugging out or going through a SHTF situation, memorize the helpful tips after the break.
