You cannot live without water and in a survival situation, most water should be viewed suspiciously unless you know without a doubt its source.

If you do not, this method will help you attain drinkable water, even if it is not as purified as you may like it in a normal situation.

The great thing about this water filtration method is that unless you are at one of the most remote places on earth, the materials necessary can usually be found with very little effort.

While this is not a purification system, it will remove the majority of bad stuff you do not want to ingest, which, in a survival situation, might be the best you can hope for.
