There are a lot of different household items that often get tossed once their intended purpose has been met.

This, in many cases, is appropriate – some stuff is only good for what it was intended to be used for.

Some stuff, however, can be repurposed and in these cases, hoarding potentially repurposed items only makes sense!

For example, plastic bottles are not just awful for the environment, they can be used in many different ways other than holding something to drink.

I also stockpile any old plastic containers that are not bottles because they are awesome for storing stuff like nails, screws, etc.
