[VIDEO] Use An Old Car Spring To Make This Awesome Spoon Carver’s Knife!

Re-purposing old and worn out stuff is a vital but fairly unique skill. We live in a throw-away society, which means that as soon as something grows old or outlives its original purpose, we toss it out.

In a survival situation, especially a long-term survival situation, being able to re-purpose old or worn out items is a critical skill.

This project takes an old car suspension spring and uses part of it to make a carver's knife that can be used to carve wooden spoons or bowls or for anything there you need leverage to dig out a groove in a piece of wood.

I doubt I will ever be carving wooden spoons or bowls, but as I was watching the video, I thought of a bunch of ways this Spoon Carver's Knife could be useful – both in specialized projects and in everyday use.
