When the grid goes down and, if there is no immediate salvation, supplies will eventually run low. Even for the most diligent of survivalists there will be struggles!
Those of us who make a run for the wilderness, supplies in our bug-out bag that we have firmly strapped to our backs, will be especially needy. However, a wise mind knows what to do and how to live on what we already have. A survivalist will practice what he or she has learned and use nature to help them!
Eventually, if you find yourself without tinder you will have to go out and get your own. But where do you start? Those large branches of wood do not catch easily and even when you pair them down it’s still not simple. Still, you are well on your way. Preparation is essential!
