We can think of a few scenarios where a person may be desperate enough to eat odd and unthinkable things while in the wilderness.

Perhaps that SHTF situation suddenly happened and, even after months of preparation, you eventually find yourself without food or fresh water.

That clump of suspect looking fungus doesn’t look so bad now. Neither do those wriggly creatures feeding off a dead carcass!

We have heard stories about men and women driving across country, in the middle of nowhere when their vehicle breaks down.

They have no other option other than to walk, often for miles and miles, to get to a safe-haven. Somewhere along the way, that strange pond of muddy water becomes tempting!
