When the “end of days” arrives there is going to be a lot of chaos and panic. People will be doing things they, as rational beings, would never normally do but – in the aftermath – there will be calm, houses will be vacated and cars will be abandoned, and rummaging will begin.

While we do not like the idea of taking advantage of this situation, many will have to dig up supplies where they can. An abandoned vehicle is a great place to start.

Be sure, of course, that the car really has been vacated before you start inventory. It would not be a good thing to break into someone’s car just to have them come out of their house with a baseball bat or a rifle!

But once you are sure, there are various areas inside a car you can look into and some really nifty treasures will be found!

Think about gloves, mirrors, maps, blankets, tools … any number of items that will either aid you or you can trade for bigger and better items in the future.
