Believe it or not, despite being in the modern age there are still some homes that do not have air conditioning readily available.

In our house, while we do have an AC unit, it is old and tends to conk-out on us at least once every couple of Summers. So, until it can be repaired, we are forced to use alternate methods to keep cool.

And, let’s be honest here. While the heat, particularly during the Summer month, is very uncomfortable is can also be deadly! There isn’t a Summer that goes by that you do not hear about a heatwave claiming the lives of some poor souls that found themselves in an uncooled house.
