Martial law. It’s one phrase that terrifies citizens, regardless of their political beliefs. Martial law means there will be complete restrictions of rights and privileges, a weak economy and lessened individual power to enact change via voting and protesting.
Of course, many of us could argue that we are under martial law right now, but compared to what things could be, any form of martial law today is child's play.
For martial law to actually happen one of all of 5 things must occur, otherwise, people will see the enacting of martial law as an arbitrary crackdown and will inevitably fight back. For the martial law to work, citizens much think that the government is acting in the best interest of the people.
If you take a look at history, you will know this is far from true. Martial law exists only for the benefit of those who are in power, and regardless of where you stand politically, you know it's not the voters.

Considering this list I believe that Martial Law is not the issue. Each of these events would evoke public fear and chaos. If the people who keep the 3 electric grids running chose to stay home out of fear the grids would be down within days. Within 2 weeks water delivery services would stop, and all people who need life sustaining drugs would begin to die; no refrigeration. A good novel to scare the heck out of you is ” One Second After”. As the scouts motto says ” be prepared”.
Where is all this coming from? Martial law? Get real. There’s not going to be a nation wide martial law. But we may need it for a short while in some places to restore order from unAmerican rioters. Get real people. After 8 years without a president we now have one taking office soon. We need to get busy helping him make America great again. Our country needs us.

However, out of the 3400 counties in the US about 3000 have an elected sheriff many of whom are democrats and many who do not understand the separation of power they possess. Many do not know that an elected sheriff is not subject to federal directives and can arrest rogue federal agents. Sheriff Joe of Az have fallen victim to un-constitutional law of profiling that subjects him to the Feds because he took federal monies and equipment. Any law from any source that changes the separation of power of the Constitution MUST be ratified by the states. Sheriffs across the country cave to federal authority because they do not understand the power they truly have. I have spent this entire election season trying to wise them up . Sheriffs are in charge of organizing the militias in training and the posse comatatis law to call them up but they haven’t done this for so long it has virtually disappeared.

The military DOES NOT respect Trump. He dodged the draft 5 times. Claimed his time at prep school gave him more training than most soldiers get. Said he knows more about what’s going on in the middle East than our military leaders (went in to say that’s why he won’t listen to them), held a benefit dirt vets and had to be reminded to donate the money. Said McCain wasn’t a hero because heros don’t get captured. Said soldiers with PTSD are weak. No, the military doesn’t respect trump.
