5 Plants to Survive On In The Wild: And Which Ones To AVOID

When you're in the wild, it's always best if you bring your own source of food and water. Obviously this is ideal, however in some situations and scenarios thrown your way, having your own food and water may not always be possible. But in situations like that, what do you do? You don't want to eat something that could potentially kill you. After all – there are countless plants and berries in the wild that are far too dangerous for consumption and should be avoided at all costs. Having said that, there are also various plants found in the wild that are completely safe to eat and can also offer nourishment and sustenance in a dire situation. So where does that leave you? Probably confused. How can you tell the difference from one plant to anther?

Don't worry. We've often thought the same thing. Although we're learning more and more about the types of plants you should avoid eating while in nature, we're also discovering plenty of plants and flowers that are completely safe for consumption. Bottom line: You need to familiarize yourself with both. But today, we're going to focus on what you can eat.

    One of the other things you can do is get a edible plant book for your state and start studying them also there should also b a website that pertains to each states edible forage
