5 Kickass Survivalist Uses for Pine Trees

On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate your survivalist skills for pine trees? It's ok if you don't know much about them. We're continuing to learn more and more and that's why we wanted to share some awesome survivalist tips with you surrounding pine trees. For many of us, we're enjoying camping season and have been doing a lot of outdoor activities like hiking and fishing over the weekends. The great thing about pine trees is that they're not seasonal – which means they're available to you year round. So reaping their benefits and understanding how resourceful they can be is an added bonus.

Traditionally, pine trees have very long pine needles. Some can be up to 8 inches long. In Scandinavia, the people repel lice and fleas by placing pine needles in their mattresses. You might not need to go that far with your resourcefulness, but it's good to know!
