When it comes to prepping we know the kinds of people we like to hang out with. They understand us and we know where they are coming from. There is a certain amount of secrecy between preppers because we know there has to be.

When the SHTF we will not be able to trust many but we will trust some because they are either family, close friends, and/or the people we've been communicating with when it comes to survival training and prepping.

Yet, even with this, there are those we have to keep a close eye on. There are some survival enthusiasts out there that, despite their good intentions, can actually be toxic to our way of life — even if we think we are experiencing the same calling!

Ultimately, make your determination of avoidance based on your personal character assessment of the individual, collective avoidance by labeling could be detrimental when SHTF. Or are you referring the the Royal ‘we’ here (i.e. Yourself)

Gear, rations, guns and toys. Whatever is only going to get you so far. To survivability comes with Knowledge, Skills, and Planning.

Why worry about someone who prepares. Worry about the ones that don’t. Ever witness a riot before???

I disagree with the ‘gun enthusiast prepper’ analogy. They make it sound like that just because you’re a gun enthusiast you’re not “planning”or “preparing” for anything. This article really shines a negative light on a gun enthusiast.
