20 Affordable Items That’ll be Priceless After Doomsday

There are many, many things we take for granted. Common household items like toilet paper, for example, will be worth its weight in gold post-SHTF.

Take the time to think about it. When the grid goes down, and the stores are bought out or looted the trucks, planes, and trains that used to bring items in the states will become few and far between. They'll be much too concerned about safety to frequently bring in new supplies.

Depending on the SHTF situation that's going on, you and family members may need to sit it out in a shelter or bug out home for several weeks or more. If this is the case relying on everything you have stockpiled is key for comfort and survival.

Eventually after the coast is clear other people who did not prepare themselves for a post-SHTF situation will ask you if they can “borrow” a few thing. At first, you may give them an item or two, but you won't be able to continue doing that for long.

To stay ahead before Doomsday arrives, check out these pivotal 20 items that currently are inexpensive, but as soon as SHTF takes place, you better believe these things will be priceless.

Skip the flour and buy a grain mill. Whole wheat will store much longer and is much better for you than bleached flour.

A trip to Sams Club or Costco will net a bunch of bulk items like rice, beans, salt, flour, and sugar, plus spices and such. Get 5 gallon buckets with lids, mylar bags, and O2 absorbers for long term storage.

Every community started by having a core small group of like minded people.. And that is what individual survival helps ensure… You survive long enough and well enough to connect with other like minded people

Good stuff there. A can opener like a p-38 or p-51. I have like 20 of them to trade if need be.

when it all goes down, you’d be surprised what people will trade for a bic lighter.

So everyone is cold, hungry, without any modern luxury, or utilities, and you think people are going to be like wow you have a chunk of “precious metal” let me trade you everything for that. Precious metals don’t mean$#%&!@*in a doomsday society. Sorry but give it a little thought and I’m sure you will agree.
