The news coverage uses thermal imaging or infrared camera images for a good reason: thermal vision is really impressive.
This amazing technology doesn't allow you to “see through” walls, but amazingly enough it's as close you will get to x-ray vision. Superman, anyone?
However, after the novelty of a thermal imaging tool has worn off, you might be wondering what else you can do with this modern gadget. Also, will it be useful for survival tasks?
It turns out there's quite a lot you can do with a thermal imaging tool for survival. In fact, we've come up with 18 different survival uses that are quite impressive.

NO “survival tool” should be “rechargeable batteries” only. You need to be able to swap out the batterie for fresh ones as needed. And while these toys are getting better the low end ones like this have HORRIBLE image resolution.
If they’re that close and numerous you’re already dead!
Keep working on it…
