WD-40 is a supply that most preppers have in their home, but it's likely that they're not utilizing it nearly as much as they could be. The reality is WD-40 has more than a thousand uses, so if you don't have any, it's something you should get ASAP.
WD-40 can be used for virtually anything, making it ideal for when the collapse happens. By memorizing the many ways WD-40 can be put to use preppers can use it to their advantage when hell is breaking loose.
This miracle spray is easy to store, and it also comes in multiple sizes, making it convenient to stick one or two in a bug out bag. It also should be kept in your cabin, car, and anywhere else you spend a lot of time at.
On the next page, find out what some of the most clever WD-40 uses are so you can start preparing yourself for SHTF. You might have heard of some of these hacks, but there's always more to learn!

As soon as I read one one paragraph and it said “click next page ” I moved on. Put the whole story on ONE page.
Yes ,,,,
None of the tips is what I would consider survival tips. I can think of more.
Oh no civil war is here and i have these stubborn scuff marks on my floor, what am i to do?
NO!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lubricant (y)
If SHTF, who cares about gum in your hair? You may never get a decent back again!! And I will be eating the damn squirrels and anything else that moves! HA 🙂
WD-40 = bad…
^^^ that’s what a real man uses
Don’t need no lubrication…. need to penetrate something!
That would be a good meme
Catherine Furnace Fontenot
This is simply stupid…none
Of the things listed would matter if the SHTF, with the exception of maybe waterproofing your shoes/boots.
I just read the list and that was my thought as well. I was especially amused by the “remove scuff marks” and “tone down the floor shine”. This one can be chalked up to click bait for advertisement revenue. I’m disappointed.
Joe Shaner yeah lol god knows I wouldn’t want my floors scuffed
This article is just as stupid and unrelated to prepping as it was the first time you posted it.
You can always bathe in a stream or something. Just because it’s SHTF doesn’t mean you have to be a pig
Because getting scuff marks off your floor is your top concern when the zombapocalypse happens…
John..do you consider bathing in a stream a “decent” bath?
WD-40 applied on fishing bait is the only good hack for when TSHTF
Because get stuck gum out of your hair is going to be something you’ll be doing a lot of. I know I won’t be worrying about glasses being stuck together if there’s no ducking water running to fill them up with. This article is$#%&!@*and click bait.
Yes, because during a SHTF scenario I want to make sure those pesky squirrels stay out of my bird feeder.
SHTF I am worried about scuff marks thanks to this page I can now rest easy!!! Thanks for this bull s**t
It’s great on sandwiches and you can use it to tame unruly hair!
Spoiler Alert: it can lubricate many things
I love how the picture indicates that you can somehow miraculously pick a master lock with it, but they say nothing but useless crap that will be the least of you worries if SHTF. A scuff on my floor?!?! Ha!!!
They had me at “scuff marks”. If there is one thing you need in SHTF, it’s beautiful floors…
I may not have electric or running water, but at least I can keep the squirrels out of my bird feeders, gum out of my hair, glasses separated and my floors from being scuffed and over shinny.
When the s.h.t.f I know I’m gonna be worried about scuff marks on my floor or how to get salt stains off my sneakers.

I want those squirrels in my bird feeders. It’ll make easier to kill for food.
That’s a really good point!
don’t forget about cleaning the toilet
Don’t ever put wd40 in a lock unless you plan to remove it and throw it away…. Pwd graphite…. Wd40 attracts dust and dirt…. I didn’t read the article, just seeing this made me not want to bother
You know all preppers are concerned with scuff marks….
WD40 is also a fairly decent attractant for fish, although highly illegal.
Super illegal though
Why? It’s fish oil. and$#%&!@*Has Hit The Fan. I am the police of me and my survival
Legality doesn’t much matter after society collapses, but I’ve never heard that one before.
One of its ingredients is fish oil. It helps to displace the water.
It was the 40th water displacement recipe the company made to help with rust– hence the name WD40
This was the dumbest thing I’ve ever read.
This page post some very useful tips from time to time. If shtf I’m not worried about wind, solar power or WD-40. My bug out bag has everything i need to live nomadic.
I gotta have this lol
I stopped reading at the second use. Keeps squirrels off the bird feeder? The same squirrels I’m trying to lure in and shoot for food? Come on now…
I’m not even going to bother reading this article do to the responses. But if you don’t have at least one can of wd40 in your home you are in fact not prepared. Last I checked it has over 1000 uses and counting. Works good for stiff arthritic fingers.
Been using it for generations in where I’m from.
If it gets bad enough my happy$#%&!@*is headed east. Hot springs make for a real nice bath. A stream will work just fine if need be. The sence of smell is a powerful tool and if you’re stinkin you’re just easier to find.
Hmmmm not very helpful tips in survival. How about adding a lighter for a miny flame thrower. Or using it for lighter fluid or lamp oil
Only a couple of these are even true. If you spray a spider or a wasp with WD-40, it will laugh and keep on going. Yes, it will remove a scuff mark on vinyl, but it does so by removing a very thin layer of the flooring itself.
Yeah, a real die hard survivor needs to know how to remove toilet bowl stains
