Traveling throughout the world and exploring exotic locations is a dream for many. Those of us who are able to visit desirable destinations often come back feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

A vacation is supposed to be a fun and memorable event, but sometimes it can be the stuff nightmares are made of, especially if you're visiting a dangerous destination.

We have a list of 10 of the most hazardous tourist spots around the world. Some of these places are in more remote areas while others are cities. Now don't get us wrong, we love a great adventure as much as the next person, but these places may not be worth all the thrills if you get injured or worse.

A few destination on this list may surprise you like Death Valley and Yosemite National Parks. While it is possible to travel to these destinations and come home unscathed, you should take cautionary measures to prevent a tragedy.
