If you live in a slightly urban area – especially the suburbs, you have seen the mad panic that ensues every time the weatherman utters the phrase “impending storm.”
Groceries are swamped and the bigger the “weather crisis,” the less items they can keep in stock; here is what you should stock before those unprepared trips your grocery store.
These items are all stuff you can purchase “as you go,” waiting for sales or buying in bulk when it is appropriate.
They also do not take up a ton of room, unless you are that first type of survivalist and anticipating a scenario that could alter life as we know it for months and even years.
What items would you include as a “basic necessity” for a stockpile regardless of the type of survival situation you are preparing for? Tell us below.

Why must you put click baiting adds up can’t you just post the video or are you more worried about money than helping?

Get it? Haha
5 to 10 years of stored in cool dry place. This is for non acidic foods. Although I read something a while back that 20 year old corn and green beans was opened and tested and it was fine.

Can’t you just give the list …. Ahhhhh lol.
rice, beans, cornmeal, lard/shortening, salt, canned fruit & veggies, canned meat, sugar, pasta, peanut butter.
Rice ,sugar, powdered milk, salt, nuts, lentils, dried beans, that would be my first items in the cart.
Maybe visit a couple 3rd world countries and see what they live off of.. Then you’ll know you can survive almost anything this country will ever throw at you as long as your a prepper.
Thanks Valerie
