In this day and age of electronic gadgetry, it is always nice to see people taking a small step back, remembering what it was like to build with their own hands, and actually looking into a hardback book for information.

We mention this because when a chaos situation hits you may find yourself considering some of those old ways, working with your hands and using your brain, and it is a good idea to keep some of those skills honed.

As survivalists, we all know this. But that does not mean those old fashion ways of doing things have to be complicated or, for that matter, harken to formerly back-breaking labor.
