(Video) Learn an Easy Way to Keep a Tent Warm When it’s Freezing Cold

winter-camping

Tent camping in any sort of weather is usually fun, but in all except the toastiest of seasons, it can also get pretty cold.

If you pitch your tent after the first hard frost, chances are your evenings will run below 40 degrees if not below freezing. Brr!

Obviously, if you camp during the deep winter and you experience a night above 40 degrees (which is the case in most of the country), you are experiencing balmy weather.

The realities of cold weather make it crucial to keep you and anyone else you're camping with warm — or better yet — comfortable and warm.

One way to ensure that is to modify a tent so you can handle a wood stove.

Check out the video on the next page; it'll show you how to install and use the stove safely.

I followed this page because I wanted to learn tips for survival. A vast majority of your posts are useless information and click bait$#%&!@*like this. When a person goes on a page labeled die hard survivor and sees a title like the one on this post, they don’t expect to see a damn wood burning stove. Something nobody would have in a survival situation and would obviously be the easy way in a non-survival situation. You have shared no valuable information here. I’m going to give you guys a little longer to improve your content before I dump this page.

Right there with you. I only joined this page a short while ago and so far it’s nothing but garbage.

Remember carbon monoxide kills folks. Putting a bbq or fire of any kind in an enclosed tent or area will kill you.

I use insulated tarps you can buy at any industreal construction supply store, rap around on 4 sides, then cover over tent, this way you save on what ever your heat supply you are useing.

Use a fireplace, there, saved you clickbaiting and 5 minutes of your life.
