During a disruptive event, shelter is one of the most important things to be ready to come up with at a moment's notice. You never know when you'll need to bug out when SHTF and depending on the time of season, you need to be prepared for everything, even winter conditions.
If you do end up bugging out during the winter, having just a regular tent may not be warm enough. The wind can easily blow right through it not only making it difficult for you to sleep at night, but you could freeze to death.
With the possibility of not making it through the night because you weren't prepared for severe winter conditions, it may make you think twice about practicing survival during the winter now as opposed to later. Not only having a shelter in mind that'll keep you warm during the winter is vital but having an alternative shelter in mind is equally as important.
Not to mention if you live in bear country you need to consider how to keep yourself safe from bears, even though they'll likely be hibernating!

Cool shelter.. but for only 3 minutes you get to see it.. and he doesn’t even start a fire… why bring a bag like that if you’re not doing an over night… oh well
