So if you're short on funds why not give a few of these a shot — you never know when they could come in handy when SHTF and you're out of weapons.

All of these ideas are pretty smart but we like the first the best. The water or soda bottle “gun,” using pennies and other objects as ammo, has special appeal. While it will not bring down a bear – as a matter of fact, it would probably just tick him off more – it might be good for hunting small game like rabbits or birds.

The same goes for the hanger-made bow and arrow. That pretty much penetrated the box and it could mean pigeon for dinner if the need ever comes.
