Being knowledgeable in bushcraft is beneficial from a survival perspective as well as anytime you venture into the “great outdoors.”
The more you know, obviously, the more you will be able to encounter and thrive, but additionally, being knowledgeable in bushcraft also will give you the confidence to venture out beyond normal parameters in terms of camping, hiking, hunting or fishing.
Plus, if you encounter a survival situation, you will also have the skills to make it through with a minimum of equipment.
Like most skill sets, however, bushcraft entails more than just possessing one type of expertise.
It involved possessing multiple skills that address existing in the wilderness with the bare minimum of traditional equipment, materials, and supplies.
