Where there are farmers there are tools!

Somewhere in the back of our minds, we recall the phrase: “The meek shall inherit the earth.” And while someone who works the land can hardly be considered “meek” in our estimation – bearing in mind farmers feed so much of the world’s population – it is these people that man will be looking to, not the computer number crunchers, when the SHTF.

And no, you do not have to have acres of land to be considered a farmer. As a matter of fact, as far as feeding your family and friends are concerned, we think someone who has a backyard garden has as much right to be called a farmer as the people who takes their produce to market!

This brings us back to solid, reliable tools. You cannot work the land if your shovel, hoe, and watering hose are falling apart. And trust us, if you do allow this to happen, and you eventually need them, it’s no fun!
