Freedom means different things to different people.

For some, it means doing what you want to do within reason when you want to do it.

For others, it means being able to do what you want with your property as long as it does not interfere with some other person's will to do what they want.

Still, for others, it means relieving oneself of the encumbrances of reliance on “normal” society – getting off the grid.

Because we are a nation of states and within that, a collection of diverse populations, some places encourage all of the above and others to do everything they can to thwart it.
