A guided fishing or hunting trip can be one of the best experiences in a person's life – or it can be a disaster ending up with disappointment and resentment.

Too often, clients view guided hunts or fishing expeditions as solely a “client – Guide” relationship and the reality is that any good hunting or fishing trip is a team effort.

If your guide stinks, your effort will succeed only with a lot of luck or you will be miserable.

If you stink, your camp-mates will be affected and your guide might just decide that you are not worth a lot of effort beyond the bare minimum needed to keep you quiet.

One bad trip member – from either side, can sour an adventure as surely as poison ivy, bee stings or faulty equipment.
