Lately, maybe because the weather is cooler and we are becoming antsy, our family has been in the mood to overhaul some of our prepping procedures, including digging through bug-out bags and examining the contents of our pantry. We’ve also been going over some survival tactics, what to do if the kids are in school, Dad’s at work, or if the SHTF during little Bobby’s baseball practice.

What we have already, mentally and supply wise, is good. Yet, when we think about the collapse we also think it is the hacks that will best serve us.

It really is amazing how many useful hacks are out there that we don’t really even think about. There are simple things; inexpensive items that eventually will be as good a gold when it comes to living and trading.

It’s not too late and if you want to save money while preparing for the inevitable chaos there are things we all need to look into!

Remember, eventually, we are all more than likely going to be living off the grid. What we have, grow, and learn may very well save our lives!
