The words “tampon” and “survival tool” do not often fit into the same sentence easily.

In fact, with most people, an entire conversation about tampons or survival tools could take place and whichever the subject matter was, the other term would never arise.

As a survival tool, however, tampons are unique in terms of multiple applications, ease of use and utility – with just one tampon, you can literally start a fire, catch a fish, filter your water and make a pretty effective weapon for small game.

Name for me one other survival tool has that much utility beyond its stated purpose.

I could not come up with one either.

When you look at it like that, you realize what an awesome survival tool a tampon is and why you must include several in your bug-out bag and survival kit.
