As a locksmith, I will tell you padlocks are a total false security that can be picked faster than making these shims…..
im almost positive he had the key in there the second time.
Why bother with all that when you can use a towel?
Okay, I’ll bite….
I knew about the soda can trick, but how’s the towel work?
12″ crescent wrench or pipe wrench put it on twist and waala open lock…. no effort
A seven pin cylinder lock can be opened in ten seconds with the right lock pick & tension wrench , a little knowledge and the right tools can open every door lol .
Twist a towel tightly, slip it through, and a quick/strong yank will pop the shackle right out.
Two hits with a 5lb sledgehammer,, works in seconds..
