Staying cool during the warm summer months is always a bit of a struggle. Especially during the height of summer, when it’s 90 degrees in the shade and you can’t leave the comfort of the air conditioning for fear of dropping dead of a heat stroke.
What do you do, then, when you need to get work done outside? Or in the garage? Sure, you could install air conditioning in your garage, but if you think your power bill looks frightening now, wait until you try to drop the temperature in your garage by twenty degrees.
Luckily, there is an answer. Utilizing the amazing cooling power of evaporation, you can make your own air conditioner capable of dropping the temperature a whopping 30 degrees with a cheap plastic fan, some copper tubing, and water to use for misting.
Learn how to make an inexpensive homemade evaporative air cooler by watching the video on the next page.
