
The venom from this predator’s bite contains a neurotoxin which can cause breathing problems, loss of muscle control, inflammation, and intense pain. Paralysis and asphyxia happens shortly after and then finally, death! Take a look:
The above is especially interesting for those of us who find ourselves out in the wilderness, camping. If a Brazilian Wandering Spider wanders into our camp we want to be able to recognize it!
Just keep vigilant and remember to check your Nikes© or boots before sticking your foot inside! Even if it’s not a Wandering Spider, you don’t want to make contact with any critter taking a snooze in your shoes!
