(Video) What a Survivalist Should Never be Caught Wearing After SHTF. If He Wears This He’ll Never Stand a Chance.

what to wear during a collapse

Imagine you're watching a new episode of What Not to Wear and this time it's focused on survivalist clothing. The prepper who happens to be judged is not passing the test because he made a mistake and this mistake could cost him his life during the collapse.

If you were the survivalist on the show, how would you do on What Not to Wear?

When SHTF preppers will get thrown back into the Stone Age. Even though most survivalists will disappear into the woods where they'll be in their survival shelter or bug out cabin, eventually they'll emerge. Why? They'll likely need to trade and get more food.

However, if a prepper ventures out into the woods post-collapse, what if he comes across people who aren't so nice? The last thing he needs is to wear clothing that'll make him stand out like a sore thumb. He should be wearing camouflaged clothing to remain stealth.

As a prepper, if you find yourself in this type of situation in the future, you should never wear full tactical gear. You know — a camo shirt, pants, and of course tons of weapons and a military grade face mask.

The truth is if you go out like this you're looking to get shot.

After the break find out what a prepper should be wearing post-collapse to prevent themselves from being seriously injured or worse. This video could save a prepper's life!

It may sound stupid but it’s similar to the hitman games. You don’t need camo to hide. If you can hide in plain sight it by blending in with everyone else you can carry on as normal and won’t be seen as a potential threat who may need to be stopped.

My clothes for my bug out kit are a sturdy pair of hiking pants and a button up shirt. Also I’m in the military and I can tell you from what many of my friends say, not a lot of us would be after any sort of SHTF event. We have families and$#%&!@*to worry about, we’re not mindless brainwashed drones.

I appreciate your thanks. A lot of people who never have and tend to be in circles like this have a completely wrong idea about the military. They’re normal people by and large (except the Infantry, we’re a bit crazy) who wouldn’t turn on American people, especially in today’s time when most of us have a better understanding of the Constitution and less patience for the civilian government. 9/10 of us would back the civilians against the government. It’s in our oath of enlistment.

The art of invisibility is easy enough to master I can sneak up on people looking for me in an open field the trick is perspective. I teach my kids how to do it easy test walk away from playground until perspective hides “target” behind a pole or even a chain fence then walk straight at target and the object even if it’s the pole from something as small as a fence will swell in your focus and blur target. Try it out sometime hiding in the open using focal points and perspective creeps people out.

If a catastrophe happened I would bug in.
I have several uniforms from my service in the Army, but I wouldn’t wear them. I would simply wear what I normally wear, and go outside only if I absolutely had to.
