The amount of love and work that went into this home is incredible. And it's not the fact that it is completely self-sufficient that makes this home so amazing. The truly wonderful thing about this home is that it accomplishes so much while also being a beautiful paradise away from the world.
While many prepper sites and end-of-the-world construction companies stress function over beauty, you can't deny that this guy nailed it with his gorgeous design that also happens to be one of the safest homes a civilian can own. It's just perfect.

Me also!! We visited friends in n Kentucky a few years ago. They lived in a place like this. Fields of tobacco plants on top. We slept in bedroom…interesting!!
