This snake turned out to be pretty harmless, but it could have been a lot more serious.

Imagine if it was a Boa Constrictor, as they now have in South Florida, or a poisonous snake, which live all over North America.

By regaining her composure and using household items to coral the snake, all ended well; although it is unlikely the wannabe burglar was thrilled with the outcome.

Keeping calm and using tools at hand to address an emergency, crisis or survival situation is key to making it out of the situation in one piece.

So, evidently, is knowing a little about snake handling.
