In an emergency, crisis or SHFT moment, it is critical that you keep your head, assess the situation and act with purpose, calmness and deliberation.

How you respond (as opposed to reacting) can set the stage your entire experience.

Those moments can happen at any time and range in seriousness.

Some are minor (in the big picture,) like when you lock your keys in the car and have to figure out how to get help to get it open.

Some are critical like a natural or man made disaster, where your very actions could make a difference between you making it out unscathed, getting injured or even killed.

Some, like in the video on the next page are in the middle, although having a snake trying to steal an egg on your kitchen counter is downright off the charts on the creep-meter.
