A spider may be scary, but the odds of it being dangerous are more than a million to one. Even among the dangerous spiders, there is a more than 99% chance of survival from the bites.

Spiders play an important role in keeping pest populations in check. With more and more people seeing the dangers of pesticides and repellents, it likely won't be long before we start welcoming these little 8-legged monstrosities into our homes with open arms.
