Oh, how we love this hack!
While it is easy to buy a whistle at your local dollar store there is nothing like the pure satisfaction of making your own, a long wearing whistle that can be made with nothing more than a spent bullet and things found in nature!
You may wonder what you would do with a whistle in the wilderness and that is pretty easy. Keep it in your backpack or bug-out bag.
If you ever find yourself in distress, injured or even lost, blow the thing and your companions or any helpful soul can come and find you!
