It is probably the most common of knots so, therefore, the most important. Everyone, even a child, should learn how to tie a square knot!

Not so hard, is it? Other knots are more complicated and we are sure we’ll get into those in other videos. Still, this is a nice start and – again – it is a great knot to teach the spouse and kids! The minute you tell them to tie something with a square knot they should know exactly what it is you are requesting!

None of us plan to be pirates after the SHTF but it’s nice to say, should the need arise, you will know your nautical knots!
