Few realize it, but when we venture into the outdoors, we are sharing nature with whatever wild animals happen to be in the vicinity.
In most cases, the wild animals we see are pretty tame – squirrels, woodchucks, rabbits, maybe a deer, nothing too formidable and certainly not frightening.
Once in a while, though, those enjoying the outdoors run into something a little more menacing – a bear or coyote or even a wildcat!
In fact, virtually every place that is wild has some sort of animal that can pose a danger to humans or other animals!
That does not mean we should not enjoy the outdoors, but it does mean we should always be careful!
On the next page, there is a video of a wildcat attacking a deer that illustrates exactly what we mean; check it out!
