(Video) 4 Serious Threats We Should NEVER Try to Outrun in the Wild or Else

running bear

1) Bears

Even though your initial instinct is to run, if you ever were to come across a bear while you're hiking, biking, camping, or bugging out, you should never run. Instead, according to Art of Manliness, this is what you should do instead:

1) Carry bear pepper spray. As with the grizzly bear, bear pepper spray should be your first line of defense in a bear attack.
2) Stand your ground and make lots of noise. Black bears often bluff when attacking. …
3) Don't climb a tree. Black bears are excellent climbers. …
4) Fight back.

After the break, find out another predator you should never outrun. It makes sense not to outrun this predator, but if I hadn't read this I might have!

Two photographers were in the woods taking nature pictures when an angry bear appeared and started running straight towards them.
One photographer turned to the other and said “One of us is going to get some fantastic pictures”.

you can run away from a bear going down a steep hill but if you try running away up hill or level land then you will just die tired.

    Bear pepper spray? Seriously?
Nope. A rifle in the 400 caliber range seems a better deterrent

At least a 44 mag, people shoot deer and they run a hundred yards or more sometimes. A passed off bear may be tougher to stop. That’s just my opinion.

I’m thinking you’re pretty much screwed with a grizzly bear whether you run or stand, excepting a large caliber handgun perhaps. And even that’s dicey.

Yeah and if a big brown bear is charging at you don’t thing bear spray will stop it that’s bull crap it a big grizzly or brown bear is hungry and wants you , you better have a firearm that can stop it and you better know how to use it. ,now if a bear not hungry bear spray might work but if it wants to kill you and the spray is all you got. , then God better send a angle to protect you if not your a fool to think bear spray is all you need , so it’s like this stay out of big bear country and mountain lion country and for sure wolf country , a pack of wolfs they are smart cunning and will follow you for miles ,a single bear is bad enough but a pack of wolfs is something else can’t watch all of them at the same time , one guy said take out a knife and go for the neck lol what a dumb$#%&!@*better stay out of their home unless it armed good and have a buddy that’s armed to help watch your back . When idiots get killed by bears lions or wolfs then it’s a all out hunt to kill the animal , that’s stupid if a dam fool puts their self on a ace like that don’t hate the animal
