When you think of the most dangerous animals in the world, you're probably envisioning the big predators at the top of the food chain. You know, the ones with the big teeth, big claws, the “lions and tigers and bears, oh my!” image of an imposing force to be reckoned with.
Well, we've got a different list for you. The animals that you probably didn't think of when you saw the word “dangerous.”
We're talking about the ones that don't necessarily make headlines when they attack, but they are still incredibly dangerous. Sometimes they're little, sometimes deceptively innocent looking. But they're the ones you probably want to steer clear of (although #10 might be a bit of a challenge for you).
Take a look on the next page to see the list of the ten most dangerous animals!

The snake in the pic is very poisonous and deadly. It’s the black mamba.
Ok I didn’t know that John. Thanks.
Maybe so, but I’d rather fight off a cobra than at least 10 other animals I can think of.
I’d be up on the farm in WI if the SHTF, potentially getting mauled by wolves, bears, or mountain lions doesn’t scare me. I can hear or see them coming. Getting bit and slowly dying from a snake or spider creeps me out.
I spoke before I read it. I thought it was going to say a snake was the most dangerous.
I remember being about 5 feet from a rattler in South Dakota. The wind was howling but you could hear him rattling from a ways off. He was right next to the bottom step of stairs heading down to an overlook in the badlands. We saw people going down there, peering over there, and moving WAYYY over. He was coiled and rattling up a storm.
