Prepper BS People Must Stop Believing in Now… Before it’s too Late

Post apocalyptic survivor in gas mask

When it comes to hypothetical situations of when the grid goes down, and chaos ensues, many preppers have an idea of what will happen. Whether it has come from literature or reinforced through pop culture, everyone has a theory.

Take a moment and think about all of the books that have been about a survivalist post-collapse, or a favorite post-apocalyptic television show. Also, that doesn't include the fears that most survivalists have when thinking about Doomsday.

However, when preppers take the time to think of these far-fetched theories, they may discover that some of them are total BS.

To tell what is myth, and what is reality, preppers should question the following assumptions.

On the next page discover the answer to what many believe to be true and learn how to separate common “truths” from complete prepper BS.

You would better serve your self and your loved ones by becoming super knowledgeable of all edible plants and their uses. I have spoke of this before and I assure you it will save your biscuits. People will kill you for a can of tuna but who wants dandelions or Jerusalem artichokes? What was spoken about in this post is absolutely true and I concur with them. Ponder this! If you have it, and I want it, I WILL GET IT FROM YOU! Trust me on this. Plan on staying low key and in place with some few trusted friends and neighbors. As a LONER YOU WILL BE EASY PREY! Plan to survive, not to be killed! Every day will challenge you anew. In the mid nineteenth century, 95% of a settlers time was spent planting food, harvesting food, preparing food, preserving food, providing food for his animals! Any time left over was spent repairing his shelter, wagon, fences, traps, gathering firewood for the winter and praying. Yes, I said praying! It is hard not to pray when you live with the fact that you may be killed in any of a thousand ways at any instant! It will be a learning experience to survive each day but the biggest asset you possess is your brain, USE IT WISELY AND OFTEN! There are people living off of the grid today by choice and are thriving! You can also, if you plan and prepare wisely and do not expect to ever get the luxuries back that we all enjoy today! It does not have to be SPARTAN but the less attention you draw, the better for you!

I’m not sure I agree with everything they say here. For example bugging in is not a good idea unless you have land in the country. If your in town bugging in is not an option. Every situation comes with it’s own challenges. You will have to adapt, improvise and overcome.

There are 15 categories of prepping. Most preppers can’t even name them, much less prepare for them.

Once food runs out in the cities, the people will head for the country. If an EMP hits, no trucks will be running or bringing any food anywhere.

We have a group. We are already establishing a small independent community. We have shared resources and skills. We train together regularly and farm our properties already and are building some shared resources such as a hospital and power production. We are working it on both sides of bugging in or out.

Why, who wants to live in a post apocalyptic world like a bunch of animals killing each other for a can of dog food.

I prep for civil unrest is all I prep for whether it’s caused by natural disaster or economic collapse it all boils down to the basic same principles and bugging out is bugging out to a smaller community where you have family as a support system, not deep into the woods unless it’s an alien invasion lol.

I know one thing. History is 1/3 truth, because the other two sides where killed off and can’t rebuttal the evens that really took place..

So, truth, all government are not the people’s friend in any way shape of form.. They only been to satisfy our needs when WE AS A GROUP stand up together and ask for what we want..

Until we all stand up and demand the changes that we want, they (the government and the rich) are going to follow the established agenda until the goal is reached; which is a society exactly like the Chinese…

All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near. Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him.
