Apparently, NASA is getting ready for an incoming asteroid attack. This includes formulating evacuation plans and educating the public about safety measures and how to deal with the aftermath.
NASA claims that it's going to happen. What do you think? As preppers, it's always better to prep for the worst ahead of time.
After all, not having a plan or emergency supplies may reduce the probability of surviving an asteroid impact.

70 yrs old
60 plus yrs of studying survival …a types of survival.
On the left you have those that do nothing to prepare and will die doing nothing.
On the right you have the group who lives only to survive in an event
They have mental problems. And best to steer away from them.
Then we have the middle group. They are concerned and make general reasonably preps …key word reasonable.
They may or may not purchase long term storage food .
But most keep plenty of dry rice beans and corn on hand.
They rotate these items but they always keep at least a month’s supply per person on hand.
The middle group has a general knowledge of self sufficiency and a few books
They generally have a fire arm or may have the basic three.
Shotgun. Auto load high caliber rifle and a am a 22 caliber. With a moderate amount of ammo.
Most know the greatest danger is man before. During. And after the event
My question to you is.
Where are you on the scale of survival.

Retired firefighter and construction worker now live in Florida for the past three years every time I discuss this with my girlfriend I get laughed at she said she’s lived here for almost her whole life and never had to have a plan this is not the way I roll so I guess my plans for myself sad to say but I’m tired of getting grief for trying to put together a plan and supplies

Seriously man. NASA put a man, actually 2 men on the Earths Moon in July 1969. NASA is an ACRONYM for the National Aeronautical and Space Administration. All of the X Planes developed in the late 1950s into the 60’s that broke the sound barrier open evening and twice later were NASA prototypes.
Regardless of the source, this is exactly why I don’t over prepare. If a natural disaster such as this took place all your plans could be destroyed and you’re left in the cold with nothing. No, I don’t have the perfect answer, but the disaster you prepare for is probably not going to be the one that happens.
