One of the toughest questions to address if you are just starting to get into the survivalist lifestyle or mentality is whether or not to own a firearm.
This is particularly difficult if you have not grown up around firearms or are not really comfortable around them.
For some, the answer is easy, for both protection and securing food, but for others, it is a subject for a lot of debate.
Once you decide you want to own a firearm, however, then you have to decide what exactly you want to own.
Handguns are one such option (most who do own guns own at least one handgun.)
The video on the next page highlights one gun seller's opinion on the three most reliable handguns that are easy to use and sell for prices that will not put you in the poor house.

Scott!
Obviously cant trust his opinion cause he only suggests 9mm, however i do love my beretta in .40 and its 3rd on the list, id rather have a little style with my weapons than just plane and clunky like the glock, or over engineered with 20 “safety features” that the corrupt government requires to have. Really sad that the gun companies dont stand up with the people and say$#%&!@*you to gun laws and corruption
Cant go wrong with a 1911 45
Stopping power; that is what it is about
Yes. Don’t be that “person” I once encountered at an indoor range, that just picked up their pistol and asked the Range Personnel, how to load and fire his pistol.

Why the heck do you want me to have a gun???
So you know how to better argue agains it if you wish to. Learn all its intricacies, applications etc. I’ll even help you n stuff.
Between Nathan and Josefina and Lloyd’s shotgun, we have enough firepower in the house! Even if I get one, I would never dream of using it on anyone or anything living. I’m a lover, not a fighter.
But it will be yours!
I have no use for it. Ever!
Plus, who says you need to ever use it on anyone. You can enjoy it for sport. Just need to understand it before saying you absolutely despise it.
Come on. I know you’re curious about stuff. Do it! Get one. You can even personalize it like a purse.
This one is nice.

He recommended 9mm for first time owners! At least that’s what the title says!
He recommended 9mm as this is directed toward new shooters/owners!
This video is junk of course he doesn’t list the price of the guns only lists one caliber I have a Smith and Wesson sd40ve its just as good if not better than that glock well it is better because 40cal is better than a 9mm and its half the price and brushed stainless steel there are a lot of better options for handguns then what this guy says
Glock screw the rest
First timer? Revolver!
I agree or the XdS in 9mm. The extra back strap safety is a plus.
.454 Taurus ragin bull
KAHR .45, small, light, simple, never misfired, and .45 knock down power. Check it out.
Except they do not sell cobra brand. Which i love and its much more affordable.
Back in the old days we started out on a 22 and worked up. Same thing works on motorcycles: you may be in trouble if you’ve never ridden before, and for a first bike you go buy a Harley hog.
Crazy expensive, every descent handgun I’ve looked at is at least $600 out the door t
If you have an academy sports around you, they have small cap magged 380’s for as low as $200, and 9’s or .40’s in s&w for $319, 40’s come with two 14rd clips, 9’s come with two 16rd clips. But any extra clips are $40 a piece for them. Atlantic firearms also has some descent priced 2nd amendment unfringable rights tools too if you can buy online and have shipped to a gun store. You can pick up a cheap ak handgun with four 30rd clips for $499+$20-$30 for shipping and probably around $25-30 that licenced gun shop will charge for paperwork. I don’t know how reliable their brand of cheap aks are, but I’m guessing they’d be ok. And most pawn shops are more expensive than brand new but once in a while you catch a deal if you keep looking.
I have the xds 9mm love it
I would recommend the springfield xds 9 mm great gun
Glock 9mm, XD mod 2, or M&P 9. $499.99 or less…chose what YOU like.
Those stores are so unfriendly towards newbies.
Smith or Ruger 38 Special Revolver for first time or seasoned shooters.
If This Isn’t A Slap Across The Face I Don’t Know What Is?
There’s a post on FB that says…”There are 21.8 million Armed Forces Veterans in the U.S.-Let that sink in….over 14 million of them can walk into combat TOMORROW…
You know what I say??? Imagine if 21.8 million Armed Forces Veterans, American Gun Owners and The NRA took up arms and stormed Washington, D.C. tomorrow and demanded POTUS and Congress resign? What do you think would happen?
21.8 million Armed Forces Veterans and 10.0 million Militia Men and Patriots and yet over 59,000 are sleeping in the streets (Whatever Happened To No Man Left Behind)
I’m no veteran, in fact I’m a felon…but make a move and I will gladly take a rifle and follow you into Washington….
