3. Food
Think ‘calories’. Estimate how long it may take you to walk all the way home (which may become many days). You should plan to carry at least 2,000 calories per day of travel. Since many foods can be heavy, choose calorie-dense foods. Emergency food bars are one good choice.
4. WATER!
You will need water much more than you will need food. Start off by always carrying some bottled water in your vehicle. However you will likely need a decent (small) water filter to refill from water sources along the way. The Sawyer Mini is probably the best in this regard.
For a few additional supplies that you may not have thought of putting in your car in the case of an EMP taking place while you're at work, check out the next page.
Many of these supplies seem like common sense but can easily be forgotten!

Its getting closer bug out grear ready to go be wise if not your own fault.
I’m good. I’m an artist and Football coach. So I work out of home or across the street.
I’m a mechanic in a small rural town 4 blocks from work. Major rivers to the north and south with several streams ponds and lakes all around. Small game in town farms and gardens all over the place. I’ll just have to work outside and trade for everything I need.
Find that girl that you’ve been stalking for years and pay her a visit.
The police and everyone will be overwhelmed so have fun. But be careful and carry plenty of extra ammo in case you run into someone who has wronged you in the past
Take a bike=stolen at gunpoint when you pass bad men on the way cause everyone can ride one. Skateboard on the other hand is portable and much more unlikely to be stolen because most people can’t Skateboard.
Why?
Nice so you’re solution is steal and possibly kill. Better hope you don’t try to steal from me, cause this hippy prepper packs and am a damned good shot.
location, location, location….That is all you really need to understand on how to survive an EMP pulse. I know someone that is prepped to the max but also does lots of travel for his job. Your survival will depend on where you are when it hits. being 4 hours from home by plane turns into weeks of travel after an EMP. I live in a part of the U.S. that if I happens in winter the death toll by spring will be omg.
Anyone consider propane or natural gas, wood, wood pellets, or corn as alternate heat sources?
I think he was saying a board is less likely to get stolen not the he plans to steal… Chill dude.
I have a board and a sense of honor. Read my post. It says pass bad men: not I am one. I was trying to get people to consider my option:not communicating a threat. This is why I just read these posts and don’t comment much.
Ummmm. What “EMP” is identified? An exoatmospheric nuclear detonation? A coronal mass ejection damaging the power grid? Contrary to Internet belief, this will not effect your car. Get in your car, start it, drive home. Work on replacing your fuses and circuit breakers there, and use your generator sparingly.
