A DIY survival grenade is a quick and easy way to build a mini-survival kit that you can take with you on a hike, fishing or hunting trip or camping – or just have with your bug-out gear.
It is compact, rugged and very inexpensive to make – the most expensive part is the carabiner, which for what this project is intended for, you can get a rugged, but inexpensive one for around $15 online.
Inside the “grenade,” you can store the essentials you need should you find yourself in a survival situation, including fishing hooks and line, line, fire tinder, a fire starter – almost everything you would need regarding tools in an emergency.
About 20 feet of paracord serves as the external “wall” of the grenade, which also can be invaluable in a survival situation.
