One survival skill most of us have mastered (to one degree or another) is the ability to grow our own food.

A healthy garden full of fruits and vegetables equals food that can be stored for emergency use or over the non-growing months that almost all of us experience.

In many areas, non-growing months seriously eat into the vital time needed for plants to mature – in my region, for example, frost is still a threat up until late May!

That makes it critical to seize every advantage you can.

One way of doing that is to build your own greenhouse.

A sturdy greenhouse can give you up to 12 weeks in most cases of growing time that you otherwise would not have.
