Homesteader, preppers and survivalist. That is us in a nutshell and while we have learned to hunt, can food, and prepare for when the SHTF, have we really thought about our homes and how environmentally sound they are?
Honestly, it’s not just about helping Mother Earth for the children who will follow but when the grid goes down, it is the need of a sound place to live in that will not just keep out the riff-raff but will also stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Remember, unless you have some great solar panels, power will be at a premium and the more comfortable you keep your home the better off you will be!
