
Cinder blocks are an interesting marvel. What? You say, “What is so bloody phenomenal about a cinder block?” Easy. They seem to reproduce themselves with little effort. No, really. Look around. When you see one cinder block laying around you usually see more!
When we were kids we played in a back lot with splintering wood and heavy cinder blocks. No, it was not overly safe. I’m actually surprised we did not catch some kind of deadly disease. But the point is the cinder blocks seemed to grow and grow, pile up, as if whoever put them there really had no idea what to do with them.
Now, in this day and age of survivor and prepper enlightenment, we do know they have a use and can be truly valuable!

bullshit when it comes to building a fireplace or stove. cinderblocks crack or completely brake after a few uses. they cant stand the temp. i had a block that actually exploded when hot.

A portable fire pit? Have you ever had fire around cinder blocks? It doesn’t end well for them.
